‘’Partides’’ (‘’Batches’’) a play by Nikolai Gogol, directed by Demetris Fotiou was performed in the
amphitheater of Lakatamia Municipality. Beneficiary was philanthropic association Alkyonides. This
theater was a major success. Over 850 people attended the play which was done under the auspices
of the President of the Parliament of the Republic of Cyprus Ms. Annita Demetriou. Leading
politicians, people that cater to the arts and other intellectuals were also present in this unique
performance.
