Objectives
The project EYES is designed to improve the participation of young Europeans in the democratic and social lives of their communities, with a particular focus on their participation in the European elections of 2024. The project aims to empower Youth Workers by equipping them with the essential skills necessary to effectively engage and involve young people in a way that tailors initiatives to the unique needs of diverse communities. In addition the project aims to disseminate comprehensive knowledge about EU institutions and decision-making processes among Youth Workers, ensuring that they are well-informed. This, in turn, enables them to provide accurate and pertinent information to the young individuals they work with. Furthermore, the project endeavors to foster a heightened sense of European identity and awareness among young people. This is done by emphasizing the common values upheld by the European Union, promoting the principles of unity in diversity, and highlighting the rich social, cultural, and historical heritage that distinguishes Europe.
Activities
The main activity of EYES project took place in Ayia Napa (Aktea Beach Village 4*) in October 2024 with participation of Youth Workers from all the partner countries of the project
